You need an editor

I have helped many authors with their books and I could not agree more with Donna Ward, writing on the Writers Victoria website, as follows:

If you’ve written a whole book and haven’t shown your manuscript to another living soul and you feel it is finished and ready for publication, then take it to an editor. As wonderful as you think your work is, an editor will make it even more wonderful. They’ll not only offer great advice on the structure of your novel, or poetry collection, or memoir, they’ll also check the grammar, syntax, and typos for you. But more than this, they’ll tell you what it’s like for a complete stranger to read your work. Make sure you find an editor who is fearless about being honest. Make sure they’re committed to creating something extraordinary, something that is so different to anything else that’s around that a publisher can’t help but choose to publish it.

Contact me at info@checkword.com.au if  you have a manuscript that needs this treatment.
